One Little Challenge
When you read books, magazines or attend seminars about training, nutrition and supplementation, it can be very overwhelming. You can easily try too many things at once and set yourself up for failure. Sometimes you need to just pick something simple and put all your energy toward it.
What I mean by picking something simple is that you choose an exercise or program that will help you reach your goals and do it every day. This task can usually be added to whatever routine you’re doing in the gym as long as you can recover from it.
I have done this in the past and started doing this again today. For one month every day I will do one minute as hard as I can on the Airdyne bike. I will always do it at the end of my workout and it will be an addition to my usual training workout program.
So I challenge you. What simple task can you add to your training plan? Maybe it can be as many pull-ups as you can do? 100 squats for time? As many push-ups as you can do in the morning? The only regulations that I have are that it can’t inhibit reaching your current goals, you need to constantly do it (daily or weekly), and it has to be easy and quick.
Good luck on whatever you choose! I myself will be suffering on the bike every day to see how many calories I can burn in one minute.
