Personal Training

Most personal trainers have a one-size fits all approach. At Pat’s Gym, we train people for specific objectives and hold them accountable.
People who train at Pat’s Gym are held to high standards. We not only work hard but we teach proper recovery, rest, periodization, mental toughness, changes in intensity, nutrition and how to read your body. Every individual is different, and not all bodies respond to the same program and diet.
For example, when an Olympic athlete comes to Pat’s Gym, we study the biomechanics of the sport along with the weaknesses, strengths, injuries, nutrition and mental toughness of the athlete. From there we plan out a program that fits the athlete’s lifestyle.
In the beginning phase we get a solid foundation and prevent injuries. The client learns how to read their body and to what they respond best. We then focus on specific areas and figure out the fastest way to reach goals.
Just like the real world, things change and you have to adapt. Injuries happen in life and are viewed as opportunities to work on a weakness. Some days are easier than others but with a proper program, clients get the most out of each day.
