The Birthday Challenge

The Birthday Challenge, originally inspired by Jack LaLanne, “The Godfather of Fitness” (Google him), is usually a very challenging physical task and always makes your birthday unforgettable. Typically your age lends itself to the base of your challenge–when I turned 28, for instance, I did 2,800 pull-ups in one day.

The birthday challenge can be tailored to your goals and interests. Focus on something you want to improve on or something you excel at. It can take an hour or it can take an entire year depending on how big your goal is.

My clients feel a sense of physical and mental accomplishment after finishing a Birthday Challenge. This day is meant to give you an opportunity to look back on your life and gain perspective on how much you can achieve each year.

When your birthday comes around each year, get off the couch (or put down that cake and beer) and push yourself to your full potential. It is only one day!

Here are a couple of examples of Birthday Challenges that I created for my highly motivated clients.
