October’s Challenge will favor no one, other than the elite! Enjoy it.

October’s Monthly Challenge is tough and will require much endurance. You need to progress through the exercises as fast as possible. It contains a variety of exercises which will not favor any one type of athlete other than those who are mentally tough. Members Only get hints on how to prepare for the Challenge!

The first round will look like: 20 swings, 15 goblet squats, 10 perfect push-ups and 5 burpee pull-ups. You need to use 55# kb for men and #35 for females, for the swings and goblet squats.

At Pat’s Gym we have standards so they are as follows:
You must go in the order listed below:

Swings need to get to shoulder height
Elbows need to hit the knees on the goblet squats
Chest must hit the floor on the push-ups
Chest must hit the bar on the burpee pull-ups

This is a mental mind fuck because each round changes what exercise is worse. I recommend pulling the pin and going for it.

Challenge:

KB swing               20   15    10     5

I want to congratulate the winners of the September Challenge who are Jake and Katie. Their times were impressive. Respectively, their times were: 17.21min and 24.19min. If you recall, the challenge was 300m on skiErg and 5 swings EMOM.
