The September Monthly Challenge will favor no one, but the mentally tough will have an edge!

Congratulations to Gretchen and Chad for winning the August Monthly Challenge. The July Challenge was a 200m row and 100 burpees for time. Gretchen’s time was 14:04 minutes and Chad’s time was 13.23 minutes.

Unlike the August Monthly Challenge, September’s will not favor anyone! September’s Monthly Challenge will involve the SkiErg and Kettlebell swings. Also, the September Challenge will be one of my favorite’s….it’s an EMOM (every minute on the minute). Specifically, the challenge will be an EMOM workout for time, where you start off on the SkiErg (with the damper on 10) with a goal of burning 300 calories, and EMOM you will need to do 5x KB swings (70# for men and 40# for women) where the KB must get to shoulder height on each swing. Try it early in the month, and do it throughout the month to see how you improve. It’s amazing to see the progress you can make when you practice.
