Where We’ve Been and Where We’re Going: I can’t believe that this past week flew by. The break I took from blogging daily about my workouts and nutrition was needed, but the feedback I have received is that those daily blogs are missed. As a result, I am going to finish up the month of March with theme weeks associated with working out. I can’t emphasize enough the importance of recovery routines and eating appropriately for your workouts. As such, next week I am going to post recovery routines that I will follow and that you can incorporate into or around your workouts. The week after that, I am going to post about how to eat for and around your workouts, so that you have enough fuel to effectively perform your workouts, and to heal quickly from them. If anything gets lost on athletes, it’s finding enough time to emphasize recovery and proper nutrition.

Future Posts: Also, next week many of the athletes who finished the Get Cut Program will start the Strength, Lean and Defined Program that is intended to build on the gains that these athletes from achieved from the Get Cut Program. I will follow these athletes as they go through this new Program. I will share their gains and challenges with you. I’m excited to see these athletes build upon what they have earned so far. You don’t need to have finished the Get Cut Program to start the Strength, Lean and Defined Program, but you do need to have a solid foundation to follow this Program.
Additionally, I am training an athlete who has been drafted into the D1 Football program. I am working with him on the Mass Gain Program, which I am modifying somewhat through our private sessions. I will share his journey as he prepares for his football program. He’s a very talented and driven athlete. He will serve as an inspiration for us all.
A New Pricing Option on Classes: On Monday, I will release a new pricing program for athletes who want to attend classes, but can’t commit to the all you can train pricing program that we currently offer, or the drop-in class program that we offer. Stay tuned for more details about this pricing option.
Today, is a great Spring day in Madison. I will be doing my recovery outside with my kids. It may be a nice bike ride with my kids riding a tandem bike with me and Roza. Or it may getting out and playing a bit of soccer with them. I will share tomorrow what I did for recovery on Saturday.
Again, I want to thank everyone for the encouragement on my blogging, and providing input about what they want to see. I really appreciate the loyalty you have shown me and Pat’s Gym.
