Some days I feel great, and I go into a workout with a mental attitude that I can conquer anything. Other days I face it with some hesitancy. The day I did this workout, I was a bit unsure if I could handle something really intense. When I am hesitant or nervous about a workout, I just jump right into it. I don’t over think it.
The EMOM (every minute on the minute) is generally daunting. You know it will get tough when you get into it. And when the EMOM is only 20 minutes, you know there is an end to it, but it can be tough when you hit minute 5 – 8. Then you need to calm yourself down, and just grind it out. When I program shorter EMOM’s I generally make them more intense.
