A family that works out together, stays together and are healthier for it.

IMG_4071I strongly believe parents have an obligation to teach their healthy habits. One of those habits is that learning to enjoy working out from a young age. The older you teach a child to workout, the most difficult it is for them to enjoy it. Also, it’s best to start out the perfect form at an early age versus try to teach it later in life. It’s like seeing a good golfer who learn to play golf at an early age versus one who started later in life. The movements required by golf come naturally and smoothly to a person who learned to play early in life. Those who learned later in life generally have movement that are more robotic or artificial.

Therefore, you can share Sundays with you kids as a workout day. It’s a way for you to get in a workout, and teach your children healthy habits. You lose the excuse of not having time to workout. You can have fun as a family, while building stronger relationships. Also, it really doesn’t take much time to get in a good workout.
