A Super Charged Medicine Ball Workout

DSC08855Recently, I have been working with heavy medicine balls. I started out with 90#, worked my way up to a 100#, then came the 125# ball. I am now very comfortable with the heavier balls and understand how to work with them. It’s taken a while, but I have learned a lot from this work. It has reinforced my technique on squats and deadlifts. It has also reinforced how to use my core for these workouts, in getting down to the ground, lifting up the 125# and getting it up. It has also taught me how to generate power from my hips. It’s been a great learning experience and now it’s my friend.
