Functional Movements – Critical to a healthy 2018!

DSC05590I want to help set you up for success in 2018, as such the Knowledge posts I am creating will focus on how to set you up for a healthy 2018. Start now, in December to be healthy in 2018.

I think deadlifts are one of the most important functional movements. They not only strengthen your body, but they also align it too. If you want to set yourself up for a healthy new year work deadlifts into your program. Deadlifts work all of your posterior; and, remember that posterior chain health is more than just the back. When we work our posterior chain it includes the glutes, hamstrings, hips, and back. In today’s world, there is a lot of sitting in cars and at desks so our bodies are in a forward flexed position. We need to make sure we open that up.

This workout is a great strength workout that I use to work my posterior and to improve my deadlifts.
