New Classes at Pat’s Gym mean there is something for everyone!

At Pat’s Gym we have changed our classes so that they are more convenient and more flexible for our athletes. The feedback we’ve received has confirmed the reasons why we changed the structure.

At Pat’s Gym, we’re ensuring that our athletes are good at everything, and aren’t afraid of any exercise or machine. We also have mixed strength with aerobic activity, so that we avoid balances and have all great all-around fitness. Mixing in both will take your fitness game to the next level.

Previously, we based our classes on fitness level based upon fitness achievement. What we found is that some athletes felt there were not enough classes for them, or that classes were too tough or too easy.

We moved to Pat’s Fit and Pat’s Strength class and have rotated the days that they are offered. We also have moved away from levels, ensuring that an accomplished athlete can amp up the level of the class to match their abilities, while those athletes who are beginners or intermediates can amp the level down. This flexibility has made the classes more personalized for our athletes.

Also, by rotating days between a Fit class and a Strength class, athletes can either target overall fitness or strength workouts by attending every other day, or by coming daily and mixing it up between strength and fitness. We’ve made it more flexible and you can target what you wish. Also, with strength classes if you want to get big, you can increase the weight. If you want to be lean, you can focus on more reps and lighter weights.

It’s a great way for you to tailor the class to what your goals are. It’s a great way to allow you to amp up the weights/reps to get what you want. It’s also a great way for you to determine if you want to focus on Fit or Strength, or both.

Plan your week on Sunday and stick to the plan to reach your goals. All the coaches know exactly what each class entails and they make sure the Pat’s Gym standard and philosophy is incorporated into each class. I require that our coaches submit their workouts to me one month in advance, so I can ensure that they are consistent with the vision of Pat’s Fit and Pat’s Strength philosophy.
