Powering through another workout….don’t quit!

DSC07530This was one of those workouts, that I felt that it was too intense. However, I realized that after I started the workout. And I’m stubborn, so I don’t quit regardless of how tough it may be.

I was not able to make it into the gym, and I wanted a good workout so I used the SkiErg and bodyweight movements in my basement. It was tough, but I knew if I could grind it through I could make it. Because it was so intense, my pace slowed on the bodyweight movements. The SkiErg turned out to be the easy part of the workout. The wall walks and komodo push-ups really taxed my core and shoulders.

This was a Power Endurance/Strength Endurance workout. It turned out to be a lot of volume work and made me extremely sore. Most of my workouts last about 1 hour; however, this one took 1:20hrs.

When you bite off more than you can chew, it gives you good perspective and makes other things easier. It’s always good to test yourself and see how you respond to tough situations. I am going to experiment more with these new movements to perfect how to make them useful in a program.

Members Only get to try out this workout and see how they do physically and mentally. Good luck!
