Supplemental workouts can set you up for PR’s and long-term success.

DSC07811Try this deadlift, pull up workout and you will have short term, medium term, and long-term success. A great way to practice your deadlift form, work on core stability, and improve you pull ups is to do this type of workout frequently. I know many people who have set personal bests with a deadlift by doing this workout a few times a week.

For this type of workout make sure that every rep is perfect. Don’t rush through it, and take your time. See what your body feels, and react accordingly. View the videos on the Pat’s Gym website.

The month of November Knowledge posts will focus on supplemental workouts. These workouts are normally overlooked by athletes. However, they are critical for structural reasons, and for recovery.
