The December Monthly Challenge

The December Monthly Challenge – Each year at Pat’s Gym, the Monthly Challenge rings in the holiday. Also, it will put you in mood for the festivities! The December Monthly Challenge is the 12 Days of Christmas. It consists of the following:

1 DL 95/165
2 Ground to overhead with plate 25/45#
3 Manmakers 2×30/2×20 Dbs
4 KTE or TTH
5 Burpee pull ups
6 Weighted Walking lunges 30/20# (each side)
7 KBS 55/35#
8 Calories bikeerg
9 Burpee box jump over 20”
10 Push ups
11 Weighted deck squats 30/20#
12 Plate push laps in the green room 25# female 45# male

The workout should be done just as ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ song is sung.
Every 3mins stop and do 7/10 calories on the skierg (females do 7 calories and men do 10 calories). There is a 60min cap on time. Have fun with this one!

You get scored on how fast you go through the exercises. Count each one carefully and enjoy the song!

The November Monthly Challenge – Each year, Pat’s Gym participates in the Concept2 World Competition SkiErg for the 1000m race for the best time. This year, as in similar years we’ve had our athletes place extremely well. We even had the top individual overall in his age group as well as set a World Record. This year, Erick won in his age group with a time of 3:08. Great job Erick! We also had 1-woman place in the top 3 in her age group. Great job Crystal. We are so happy with the showing of the Pat’s Gym athletes.

The winners of the Pat’s Gym November Monthly Challenge are Erick with a time of 3:08, and Katie Hurtis with a time of 3:30. Good job!
