Online Coaching Seminars: On the last Monday of each month, Pat is giving seminars on the 4 pillars of his philosophy that has helped so many athletes achieve great results. Last month, September 26, Pat discussed how athletes can use stress as a motivator (versus an inhibitor) to achieve success in their athletic, personal and professional lives. The response by the athletes who did attend is they are already seeing results in their workouts and everyday life.
The next seminar will be on Recovery held at 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., at Pat’s Gym, on October 24, 2016. In this Part One of a two-part series, Pat will discuss various exercises that are structural and recovery in nature to help you avoid injuries and imbalances. Part Two will be held in 2017, and will discuss other ways to recovery from workouts. Stay tuned for more details.
A Trek/Pat Gilles Seminar: On October 13, 2016, at 6:30 – 7:30 p.m., at the Trek Store – East Side Location, in Madison, Pat Gilles will be discussing way to train during the winter months for cyclists, so that they don’t have to start from ground zero next spring. Monthly Challenge:
October’s Monthly Challenge is going to be a tough one, and a mind blowing one. The easier it seems to get with some exercises, the harder it really gets. It is 4 rounds of 4 exercises for time. Have fun with this one.

I want to congratulate the winners of the September Challenge who are Jake and Katie. Their times were impressive. Respectively, their times were 17.21min and 24.19min. If you recall, the challenge was 300 calories skiing and 5 KB swings EMOM.
